To me there is not a lot of difference in creating sound design or music.

It’s about rhythm, cadence and dynamics. It’s about being bold and making a statement with as few sounds as possible. 

A great drummer is rarely noticed, they’re just there as a solid foundation to the band. It’s the same for sound design.

Keep it emotive, bad-arse, believable.
